Project: WiFi Home Security Product Suite Redesign
Objective: Redesign aimed to enhance user experience, upgrade functionality, and modernize the aesthetic, aligning with the latest smart home technology trends.
Role: As Lead Product Designer, directly executed all aspects of the redesign, collaborated closely with the owner/CEO/CTO, and personally handled the conceptualization, design iterations, and finalization processes.
Strategy: Employed a user-centered approach, focusing on simplifying the user's installation journey, ensuring intuitive navigation, and maintaining a unified aesthetic across the product range.
Process: Personally conducted user research, developed wireframes, generated mood boards, and refined prototypes, integrating stakeholder feedback and adhering to the set technical requirements.
Execution: Single-handedly managed the comprehensive redesign of the Skybell product lineup, including applications and physical devices, ensuring the implementation of responsive and adaptive design principles across all platforms.
Outcome: Despite the delay in market launch due to COVID-19, the project received positive reviews from investors and global team members. Additionally, the work led to several US patents under my name, showcasing innovation and adding significant value to the product.

Challenges and Solutions: Faced and overcame challenges in integrating sophisticated features while maintaining simplicity in user interfaces, and adapted design solutions to fit existing hardware constraints.
